BalanceWren is a new set of tools for bookkeepers and business owners: turn PDF bank statements, CSV and Excel files into files QuickBooks, Quicken and Xero accept, and check every file against the statement before you download it.

Every file ends with a balance check. Opening balance plus money in, minus money out, must equal the closing balance printed on your statement, or you see the row that breaks it.

How your files are handled

Text PDFs, CSV and Excel files will be read in your browser, so they don't leave your computer. Scanned PDFs need our server to read them; the page will say so before anything is sent, and those files are deleted within an hour.
